THE COMPANY
Savino Barbera produces, under its own patent, plastic (PP, PVC, PVDF, PE-HD) centrifugal pumps for handling and treating corrosive liquids. Its production is in fact intended for applications in industrial processes where the resistance characteristics against chemical aggression must be matched with reliability, safe usage and easy maintenance.
THE PUMPS
Savino Barbera anti-corrosion pumps do not have metal parts in contact with liquids and are characterized by flow rates up to 150 m³/h and heads up to 060 m w.c. Thanks to its diversified products, Savino Barbera can offer solutions for all industrial pumping needs, with equipment selected based on the specific performance required and in accordance with the chemical resistances deriving form the ways in is used.

AS vertical centrifugal pumpsUp to 3 meters long with cantilever pump shaft with no intermediate supports and with wear bushings flushed by the flow of the liquid pumped. Ideal for the transfer of corrosive liquids held in process vats and tanks having a variable suction head. The use of these pumps precludes hazardous leaks and the need for openings on the bottom of the tanks, even in case of breaks, allowing the absolutely safe pumping of chemical substances.
OMA horizontal centrifugal pumpsUp to 3 meters long with cantilever pump shaft with no intermediate supports and with wear bushings flushed by the flow of the liquid pumped. FUS Drum transfer pumpsPortable pumps for transferring (non-abrasive and non-viscous) chemical products from drums and barrels. Constructed with pneumatic or electric motor drive. Power supply: 6 bars with air flow rate of 0.8 m³/h. Materials: PP, PVDF or AISI 304. Because of their easy handling, they are widely used also for applications such as sampling pumps, rapid drainage or for emergency services.
AG MixersVertical single-stage mixers with cantilever shaft and wear bushings flushed by the flow of the pumped liquid. Built to lengths up to 3 meters, may may be provided with centrifugal or axial flow, with speed of rotation from 2800 to 600 rpm. Intended for use in purification plants, for neutralization and mixing in tanks with volumes up to 20 m³.
BM Magnetic pumpsThanks to their magnetic coupling and to the lack of mechanical seals, they ensure save operation and the least maintenance possible. Available in a wide range of versions (including ATEX), they may only be used for special applications: with radioactive, flammable, or toxic liquids or for pumping solvents. The liquids must be clean, without the presence of suspended solids.
BX diaphragm pumpsThese guarantee the utmost safety in all industrial applications where the use of pumps actuated by compressed air is necessary and in the presence of particularly aggressive fluids. Having no seal components they may run dry without being damaged. Ideal for viscous fluids and fluids containing air or gas or with abrasive suspensions. ATEX version also available.
